What would be the Tango without the bandoneon? This mysterious German instrument was in 1900 with the Argentine Tango an inseparable connection. It gives the tango its soul. The orchestra founded in 2011is an initiative of the known Bandoneónplayer Jürgen Karthe. His desire to breathe new life into the original sound of ancient Argentine tango orchestra, let caused this extraordinary ensemble. The currently most unique cast of ten bandoneón, ten violins, piano, double bass, tuba, guitar and vocals gives an idea of how energetic the Tango sounded in its heyday in Buenos Aires.
